Wordpress 2.1.3 and 2.0.10 Released
If you haven’t already heard, the folks at Wordpress have released their latest security releases for the 2.1, and 2.0 branches.
“This update is highly recommend for all users of both branches.
These releases include fixes for several publicly known minor XSS issues, one major XML-RPC issue, and a proactive full sweep of the WordPress codebase to protect against future problems.”
Along with these releases, they hope to have fixed server problems that led to the hacking, and insertion of malicious code, into the the 2.1.1 download package. Make sure you update your respective install. If for some reason you still use 1.5 or lower, you should seriously consider upgrading, as anything below the 2.0 release is no longer supported.
