ChurchBeauty has Relaunched!

ChurchBeauty.com has relaunched it’s site, and it’s new design! I have to admit, I don’t know what the old design was like, as I only discovered the site early this year. At that point, the site was already down for it’s “redevelop/redesign.” Since I don’t know what it looked like before, I can’t do a compare/contrast, but I can only speak on what they have now.

I find the new site very clean, and simple. I especially love the way content is presented. Screenshots of featured sites are large enough that you can get a clear idea of how they look, but not so large that you feel like you’re browsing someones flickr photostream.

There are a lot of sites out there, like CSSBeauty, CSSVault, CSS Remix, and CSS Mania to name a few, who do an excellent job of featuring well-designed sites, but unfortunately, you don’t really see a very many church websites making the list. Godbit features sites on it’s main page, but that isn’t the main focus of the Godbit blog, so the sites aren’t updated very often. Hopefully, ChurchBeauty will regain some momentum, and push people build “church websites that inspire.” I’d love to see this site grow to the point where they are regularly included in the ever-popular, Digg top-10 lists.

ChurchBeauty is run by the ChurchBrilliance team, which is the “church and ministry element of Third & Grand.”
