Technorati Unveils a New Site Design
Technorati refreshed it’s site design today with a much cleaner, softer look. They’ve removed the gray footer, and updated it with a light green gradient. They’ve implemented the same gradient in the navigation portion of the site also. The biggest change comes in the search funtionality of the site.
In the past, you had to know the difference between keyword search, tag search and blog directory search in order to make use of the full power of our site. No more. Starting today, we now provide you a simplified experience. Simply indicate what’s of interest to you and we’ll assemble the freshest, hottest, most current social media from across the Live Web - Blogs, posts, photos, videos, podcasts, events, and more.
The option to search just for blogs wasn’t totally removed though. You can go to search.technorati.com (or the shortcut s.technorati.com) to do a blog search. They’ve also added a tag ticker to the homepage to “indicate what terms and phrases are on the move.”
Overall, I think I’m going to like the refresh. Now, if they could just get me indexed again, everything would be great.

I agree with you that the new Technorati.com design is much cooler now and easier to review. I only noticed that those tag as their favorite doesn’t show up consistently whenever a blog profile is viewed.
