WP-Cache NoSymlink Now with gzip
After a few requests, and some searching on my favorite search engine (Google), I’m now proud to say that WP-Cache NoSymlink is capable of gzipping your content. It turns out that it only requires one line of code. You can thank WordPress guru, Mark Jaquith, for figuring it out a little over a year and a half ago.
Currently, this is an all-or-nothing setup. You can either use the version below, with gzip enable, or you can use the version found on the main plugin page, without gzip enabled. If it seems to work alright, and enough people want it, I’ll integrate it into the main plugin, and add an option in the WP-Cache admin menu to turn gzip compression on/off. Give this sucker are try (but at your own risk), and good luck!

I think your wp-cache no symlink version works great. But i’ve a suggestion 4 U that it can be made still better. I mean further optimised. Visit this page to know the tricks and try implementing them in your version of wp-cache no symlink and later release a new version if possible

@Praditya - My apologies. I uploaded the plugin in an incomplete state. I’ve fixed everything now, and you should be able to find advanced-cache.php. Sorry for the troubles.

@ Praditya & ShOkTy: I’m not entirely sure what was happening, but it seems to be fixed now. I’ve tested the download a few times, and it seems to be the right one now. When I tested it, advanced-cache.php was in there, so let me know if you’re still not seeing it.

Im getting this error after installing wp-cache nosysmlink 2.1.2 gzip beta:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_cache_add_pages() (previously declared in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\wp-cache\wp-cache.php:186) in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\wp-cache\wp-cache.php on line 187
Im using iis6 the cache folder is writeable, hell i even made the whole wp-content folder writeable but still get the same error when i click on enable. So i reverted permissions back to just writeable on cache folder. And yes i put define(’WP_CACHE’, true); in my wp-config.php file.
So the caching insnt working:

0 expired
Any thoughts please? I would really like to use this on the website.
